This gorgeous Miu Miu tote has become something of a classic. I actually bought one three years ago in black before they became so fashionable and ever since, I have seen loads of fashionistas sporting this bag, (the model girlfriend from the city also has one in black). What’s so great about this Miu Miu bow tote is that it’s so versatile. The day I bought mine from the Miu Miu department in Selfridges, there was a girl there wearing hers in black and she was wearing it as a cross body bag with a black trench coat. It looked amazing. That was when I decided to buy it. I used to wear it as a cross body bag all the time and as a long shoulder bag. Then one day I was waiting for the tube for work and saw this girl wearing the exact same Miu Miu bag over her shoulder, but the straps seemed much shorter. So I went up to her and asked her how she did it, and she showed me. All you do it double over the detachable shoulder strap – have one side attached and then loop it through the ring on the other side, double it back over and then attach it to the same ring. Perfect! Ever since that day, I have worn it like that, it’s so much more comfortable and convenient. You can also hold it in your hands as a tote or wear it on your forearm, like many fashionistas do. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the suede has kind of a sandy texture, and the dual toned gradient yellows are reminiscent of the beach.
